At the age 48, Paul Carr experienced university life for the first time. Consolidating his experience within the NHS with formal training at LSBU, Paul won the Inspiring Educator of the Year Award at the 2015 Health Innovation Network Awards. Read more

BA (Hons) Game Cultures, 2008

Within two months of graduating, Ary Shirazi landed a job working on the Harry Potter game series with Electronic Arts. He is now Technical Designer at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe where he has developed some of the world’s most popular video games. Read more

Lina Akbar runs her own coaching company, ‘Coach Me 2 Success’ and is Head Coach at Future Foundations Training, an independent youth training organisation specialising in leadership and raising aspirations. London holds a special place in Ummaima’s heart.  In 2009 her decision to travel from Bangladesh to London to continue her education came naturally; she was following in the footsteps of many family members that had come before her.
