Amir Hasan Siddiqi
MSc Computer Systems & Networking , 2003

Amir gained a Masters in Computer Systems & Networking at London South Bank University (LSBU) in 2003.

Amir is thankful to the great environment and courses at LSBU for helping him in his career.  He works as a Technology Support Officer at the prestigious National Bank of Pakistan.

The National Bank of Pakistan has its headquarters in Karachi, Pakistan. It has over 1,200 branches throughout Pakistan. The bank provides both commercial and public sector banking services.  National Bank has earned recognition and numerous awards internationally. It has been the recipient of The Bank of the Year 2001, 2002, 2004 and 2005 Award by The Banker Magazine.

Amir strongly believes that his degree has prepared him for his role and more importantly for the working world.

Amir states the Research Planning & Management section of his degree helped him to plan and manage all of his projects in his job, especially Business Continuity Planning (BCP).

He was able to confidently make & give presentations very professionally. Amir is proud to manage the monitoring of ATM’s all over Pakistan through ATM Monitoring Software and helping out the end users to resolve technical issues that arise in ATM Operations.

He is currently working on a project to integrate “Signature Verification Software” with SQL Server in 1243 branches all over Pakistan.
