The Smarta 100, this year run in collaboration with O2, is an annual celebration of the most resourceful, inspiring and disruptive small businesses in the UK. Smarta is the UK's leading online resource for start-ups, small business owners and entrepreneurs.

All 100 businesses featured on the Smarta 100 list are divided into 10 categories, with Rinz Sound making the shortlist in the 'Made in Britain' category. The winners - to be announced at the Smarta 100 awards ceremony on 12 November - are chosen by public vote and will each receive £1,000. Additionally, the 10 winners will make the final shortlist for the 'Business of the Year' category, which comes with a grand prize of £10,000. The winner will be chosen by the judging panel - led by Dragon's Den's Piers Linney, founder of company Outsourcery.

Arina Sprynz won her first art and design award at the age of 15 and is fast becoming recognised in her field of work. After completing the BSc (Hons) in Product Design in 2010, Arina went on to launch her business Rinz Sound, before joining the Enterprise Associate Scheme. Rinz Sound took a challenge and tweaked the rule of physics by combining sound and glass to create the ultimate Hi-Fi speakers. Made entirely in the UK, using locally sourced glass, they are produced using patented manufacturing technology and a secret combination of glass and organic resin - the world's first speakers of their kind.

By using an eco-friendly factory and doing everything possible to reduce waste and energy in the manufacturing process, the speakers also have a minimal carbon footprint. With ambitious plans to promote the brand in United Arab Emirates, Arina Sprynz and her business Rinz Sound have the potential to become a market leader.

Vote for Rinz Sound to win the category 'Made in Britain', voting closes Friday 1 November.
