The Graduate Outcomes Survey

Share Your Success

We’re proud of all our alumni. And we know success takes hard work!

The Graduate Outcomes (GO) survey is a survey conducted by the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) to look at the outcomes of students 15 months after graduation to determine who is in a graduate-level position (including further study).

The Office for Students monitors the results.

Your valuable feedback and insights are crucial in providing us with a comprehensive understanding of the diverse paths our graduates have embarked upon and the significant impact they have made in their respective fields.

Why is it important?

Our graduate outcomes are an important part of what makes LSBU special and can help future students as we share your stories and review what support we have in place to enable our students to succeed. Our graduate outcome score contributes to the university’s league table rankings and therefore plays a role in enhancing our reputation.

What’s happening and what do you need to do?

The survey itself is designed to be concise, requiring no more than 10 minutes of your time. Your input will enable us to gauge the effectiveness of our academic programmes and identify areas of improvement, ultimately ensuring the continued enhancement of the educational experience we offer to our current and future students.

You may receive a message from your former lecturer or be contacted by one of our current students prior to the survey launch as they can explain the Graduates Outcomes Survey in more detail to you.

Then, from September onwards, you will receive an email from which will contain the survey link and instructions on how to complete it.

Your active involvement in this survey will greatly contribute to our shared vision for continual progress and success.

The Graduate Outcomes Survey helps future students with deciding which course and which uni to go to. We love hearing about our alumni success, so please look out for the email with the survey, follow us on our social media channels and don’t forget to #ShareYourSuccess.

We believe it’s what you do that matters. Find an opportunity to share your knowledge and experience with students and recent graduates.
