Providing a one-stop-shop for business and enterprise advice, guidance and resources and linked closely to Student Entrepreneurs – an SU student society introduced by LSBU Student Union president Richard Kuti - students will have access to a variety of free events throughout the year. These events include masterclasses, workshops, competitions and networking events.

The events, which provide an introduction to the world of business and encourage the development of entrepreneurial ambition, are the perfect way to enhance your CV. Pick up an event ‘passport’ at the first event and if you attend any six of the eight events and get a stamp in your passport booklet, you will receive a certificate in Enterprise. The events and workshops are open to both current students and graduates in any discipline regardless of career or business development stage.

For advice and guidance on a one-to-one basis, students and recent graduates can also visit the entrepreneurship drop-in sessions every Tuesday during term time from 1.30pm-3.30pm. Here you are able to get more tailored advice and support including a wealth of information about securing funding.

For further information about the service and future events then please contact Yuliana Topazly, Student Entrepreneurship Manager, on studententerprise@lsbu.ac.uk
