LSBU Alumni and the School of Arts & Creative Industries invite all current and past BA (Hons) Game Cultures students to the first-ever alumni networking event.

At this inaugural meeting you will have a sneak preview new Games Studio, a purpose-built space for games design and development. We’ll also celebrate the achievements of the course and our graduates over the past 10 years.
You’ll also have the chance to:

- Hear from LSBU Game Cultures graduates Ary Shirazi (class of 2008, Technical Designer at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe) and Daniel-Ian Smith (class of 2015, Junior Software Engineer at Scidice Ltd) offering their top tips for career success

The BA (Hons) Game Cultures course
Since 2005, LSBU has been teaching the importance of understanding all aspects of games design, development and theory. Taught by professionals working in the games industry, this unique course has produced talented graduates who now occupy a range of positions including sound designers, programmers, scriptwriters, special effects technicians and character artists.
In October 2015, the course was shortlisted as a finalist for two categories at this year's TIGA Games Industry Awards, for Best Educational Institution and Best Education Initiative & Talent Development.
LSBU's teaching staff and graduates have also contributed to a number of games shortlisted for the TIGA Game Awards including:
