Alumni v. Students Sports Day
Love sport? Then join in the fun at the inaugural Alumni v. Students Sports Day. If you think you can give current LSBU students a run for their money, or simply want to cheer on your fellow alumni as they play, come back to campus for one day and take on the student sports teams. This special event is the first time alumni will do battle against students on the field and we are counting on your support!

The games will take place on Saturday 11th May at the Sports Hall, LSBU Sports Centre (see map below) for basketball, football and netball matches and Southwark Park for rugby matches.
At the end of the day, you can commemorate (or commiserate?) your team’s results at the Prize giving and dinner reception at The Venue, Students' Union Bar in the Student Centre (see map below). Prizes will be awarded to the best sportsman, sportswoman and team of the day.
Get involved
The rugby, football and basketball teams have now been confirmed, but we are still looking for alumni to join the female netball team. If you are interested, please contact the Alumni Office by emailing alumni@lsbu.ac.uk or phoning 020 7815 6712.
Come along and support
The teams will need your support and loudest cheering voices, so all alumni are invited to represent the cause and attend as spectators from the viewing galleries. View the schedule for the day (Please note this may be liable to change)

Prize giving and dinner reception
The Venue bar will be open all day for you to relax, plan your team tactics or wind down after the games. Drinks and snacks are available from the bar and a member of the Alumni Team will be on hand to greet you with your official LSBU Alumni v. Students Sports Day Welcome Pack and provide any other assistance you may require.
After all of the games, you are invited to join us for the Prize Giving & Dinner Reception at The Venue, Students' Union Bar in the Student Centre where awards will be presented to the winning teams. We will also be taking nominations for the Most Valuable Sportsperson and the “Wooden Spoon” team or individual, who could have done with a few more hours practice time!
