Africa Rocks Expo

The Africa Rocks Expo is a one-day event that uses a unique blend of seminars, activities and entertainment to encourage people to see Africa differently.

It is the brainchild of two LSBU alumni, Chinnelle Anichebe and Amaechi Echedolu. Together, they are The Culture Initiative, a social enterprise that aims to celebrate diversity and promote entrepreneurship in all its forms.

Last year, the first Africa Rocks event attracted over 2,000 people to the Hotel Russell in central London for a packed programme including fashion, music and in-depth seminars on doing business in Africa.

This year’s expo will showcase the best that Africa has to offer including its cultures and traditions, inspirational people, foods, films, fashion, music, arts and investment opportunities.

It will take place on Saturday 13 October as part of Black History month celebrations at the Hotel Russell, 1-8 Russell Square, London, WC1B 5BE.
