In March 2014, London South Bank University is hosting the 19th edition of the Network of International Business Schools (NIBS) Worldwide Business Case Competition.

Volunteer at this renowned competition

The competition runs for one week from Sunday 2 March to Friday 7 March 2014. Your help is needed to assist with the smooth running of this very prestigious event. Volunteers, known as "buddies" and judges are needed across the whole week.

Information for buddies
Your attendance is required at LSBU on Sunday 2 March at 15:00 for an introduction to the competition and your role, a small opening ceremony and a tour.
Each buddy will be assigned a team and you will remain responsible for the same team throughout the course of the competition. Buddies must be available for the whole duration of the week and be prepared to be responsible for a team of four, supporting them throughout the competition.

The following will be provided free-of-charge to all buddies:

  • Food will be provided throughout, including lunch vouchers, a meal on the Sunday evening and a paid for restaurant meal on the Wednesday evening.
  • Sightseeing in London on the Thursday.
  • Formal Gala Ceremony on the final night, Friday 7 March
  • Official Certificate for the competition and references for future employment can be given on request

We understand that you may have work commitments, however, if you are available to offer your support at this very prestigious event, your participation would be an excellent discussion point at interviews and a great addition to your CV.
