Your view matters

We would like to say thank you to everybody who took part in our market research project. The results will help us shape your Alumni Association, to make sure it is a valuable and useful resource to all our former students and staff.

One of the findings from this research revealed that you wanted to be informed of the latest news, research and events related to your area of study and profession. As a result, we will now be themeing our quarterly e-newsletters according to the Faculty in which you studied. You will now automatically receive a bespoke e-newsletter with the latest developments from one of the following faculties:

• Arts and Human Sciences
• Business
• Engineering, Science and the Built Environment
• Health and Social Care

If you would like to receive updates from any of these Faculties in addition to your own, please let us know by emailing alumni@lsbu.ac.uk.

Overall the research indicated our members expect two main things from the LSBU Alumni Association. Firstly, to help them in their professional life and secondly to keep them informed of what's going on at LSBU. Alumni feel we are meeting their needs with regards to the second point, but more can be done to help them in their professional lives. Our alumni felt LSBU is particularly good at making ex-students feel they are still important and still cared for, which is wonderful news as the University truly values its alumni.
