Sponsor a Book

The LSBU Sponsor a Book scheme provides a unique opportunity to commemorate the time that you, or a family member, spent here at London South Bank University. It also allows you to support the growth and development of our libraries for the benefit of our current and future students.

The LSBU libraries are essential in supporting LSBU's teaching, learning and research and have amassed collections of which we can be very proud. Your donation will  give us the opportunity to expand the breadth of our collections and acquire additional materials.

Commemorative bookplate

A donation of £25 or more can provide a new book for our libraries. If you donate more than £25 to the Sponsor a Book scheme, a bookplate with the name of your choice will be placed inside the new book, to remember the honouree as an important member of LSBU for years to come.

Your donation could be a unique way to mark a special occasion, thank family members for their support or celebrate the success of a graduating student. These donations will have a significant impact on LSBU students and their learning experiences, while giving sponsors an opportunity to leave a lasting legacy to LSBU.

How does it work?

Simply go to our donation page, select the fund "Sponsor a Book" and follow the instructions from there. Once we receive your donation we will write to you to thank you for your generous support and to confirm whether to credit you or a nominated person to feature in the bookplate. (Please note, bookplates will only be created for donations of £25 or more.)
